We use Monocryatalline PERC Half cut or twin peak solar modules in most of our projects . This is the latest development in the solar PV industry offering many advantages like; 1. Half cut cells reduces resistance in the cells resulting in more power output. 2. PERC , acronym for Passivated Emitter Rear Cell technology is an addition of a reflecting layer on the rear side of the panel resulting in reducing cell temperature and increasing power output. 3. Half cut cells meaning smaller strings and two seperate sections within the panel which results in better output under shaded conditions. 4. 'Hot Spot' formation is very unlikely since the strings are much shorter and lesser voltage accumulation.
