- There was acute shortage of fresh and soft water in the campus. Also there were strict regulations that the the campus must be a ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE (ZLD) Campus. In this background, the customer wanted to install a rainwater harvesting unit to collect and either reuse/recharge all the rain water
- Project Result:
- 2,200,000 Liters of water harvested Every year and 3,500 units of Electricity saved every year
- What we did:
- Water from all the industrial roofs was collected and put through three rounds of filtration. The filtered water was stored in the sump. The Surface run-off was diverted into two recharge wells each 4.5 feet in diameter & 25 feet Deep
