Being a very Remote village in a dry area of Yadgir district in karnataka, the School faced acute water shortage. The school wanted to implement rainwater harvesting so that some of their non potable needs for water can be met
Project Result:
This system collects approximately 200,000 liters of water every year .
What we did:
A UPVC gutter system was installed along the school building to collect rainwater runoff. Multiple rain barrels were connected to the gutters, channeling the collected water into them. This stored rainwater is now used for various non-potable purposes, promoting efficient and sustainable water use.
