- There was an acute shortage of water in the school campus. Also being an educational institution, they wanted to be a model institution in terms of sustainability. Hence client wanted a comprehensive rainwater harvesting unit to be set up
- Project Result:
- 3700,000 Liters of water & 5,900 units of electricity saved every year .
- What we did:
- From all the academic blocks, The rainwater is routed to a central filter. It is a 3 stage filter. The filtered water is stored in the sump. From the admin block, the water is drained into a rain barrel. This water is used for gardening purposes.
