This is a Home stay located deep inside the woods in Madikeri district (Western Ghats) of Karnataka. This has about 4 rooms for the guests and a kitchen. Power supply here is erratic and during monsoons there is virtually no power supply. So the client wanted to be independent of the grid and run the entire facility in solar power.
WHAT WE DID
We installed a 2.28 KW Off grid solar power unit that powers the home stay .
RESULT
They are almost independent of the power utility grid . All their loads including the kitchen is serviced by the solar power unit .
