- 600,000 Liters of water & 1,000 units of electricity saved every year .
- What we did:
- All the roof top rainwater was captured , The rainwater was initially stored in a rain barrel for secondary use . The overflow the Rain Barrel was put through a sand filter and the filtered water was stored in the Sump. The surface run-off was diverted into a 3 feet diameter and 22 feet deep recharge well. (The Recharge well actually started yielding water after 2 years)
