- Kaggadasapura like many other areas in Bangalore is heavily dependant on borewells which are fast drying up . Realising this , The Apartment association wanted to harvest maximum possible rainwater so that their dependence on bore wells or tanker water comes down .
- Project Result:
- 932,000 Liters of water Harvested Every year
- What we did:
- Entire roof-top rainwater run off was captured , initially before filtration, water was passed through a sedimentation tank , the overflow from the sedimentation tank was put through three rounds of filtration and stored in the underground sump for normal usage.
